Pinched Nerve

The term "pinched nerve" can be a little misleading.  More than likely what is happening is a process called dysafferentation.  This means the nerve is not getting proper feedback from the body, due to a lack of proper movement, and as a result the pain signal that the brain is receiving is greater than the feedback signal and the brain perceives pain and a "pinched" feeling.  At Lovett Family Chiropractic & Wellness Center, we see patients all of the time who describe this sensation and they often times get great results.  Dr. Lovett is a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Neurologist and has the expertise to help you and your "pinched nerve."
